BECOME A FITNESS EXPERT AND LEAD YOUR DEPARTMENT
Everyone has an underlying basis of fitness to work in law enforcement. In the academy, fitness training is a right of passage. It seems only fitting that you would need some training to learn how to be effective. In an academy, it is not uncommon to have an injury during a training session. Sometimes the injuries are mild. When teaching a class of thirty people, if one person gets shin splints it shouldn't necessarily raise any questions. If three people get shin splints, maybe we should take a closer look. When those three people with shin splints turn into three cases of stress fractures, some intervention needs to be made. How many people are getting injured at your department? It is possible to train someone to get stronger without injuries. It is possible to control outcomes for fitness by having a guided program. It is possible to design a program, have improvements in fitness, reduce injuries, and understand the most common injuries to avoid more severe consequences. Our Instructors have created effective lessons relative to what you are experiencing in your department. Learn to train a class like a professional, work with a person one on one, or start learning the basic aspects of fitness programming to guide your own program.
